When a visitor lands on a website, the first thing that person does is scan the layout and divide the website into separate areas. We all do this to determine in what order our eye should follow the format. If you have the choice between separating an area with a line or some white space, it’s actually better to separate the area with white space. It’s more appealing to the eye and people naturally make out that separation. I hope that helps you out and please always keep in mind; don’t be afraid of white space:).
