When designing your website, one great tip is this, don’t make your users think! You’ll want to make your design as obvious and as self explanatory as possible.Here are a couple of examples. You’ll want to make sure that the navigation bar and the site architecture is intuitive. Make it as easy to get from point A to point B as possible. Having a horizontal navigation bar in plain sight at the top of your website is key.
