Hi I’m Theresa Mills web strategist with Tiny Frog Technologies. I’m here to talk to you about calls to action and tell you why they’re so important throughout your website. When was the last time you visited a website, saw a really pretty image in the header and some great copy and instantly clicked to buy something? Chances are you didn’t.
What you were looking for was more information. When you go to a website, CTA, or calls to action, are critical to help direct your user where to go next. What action to take next. Or help to provide them with additional information so they can make a decision.
When you create a call to action, think about what is it your user would want. So if someone is visiting your site they’re going to want more information – direct them to a page with more information such as a blog or Resource page. With calls to action, you don’t want to be too upfront too fast, as tempting as it might be. You want them to make sense within the user experience and direct your user to the next stage of their journey because anytime you don’t include a CTA, your journey is going to end.
If you have any questions about calls to action, please contact the Tiny Frog team. We’re happy to help.
