Creating Quality Proposals
This is Mikel Bruce with Tiny Frog Technologies. I’d like to talk a little bit about your website and your proposal. We have a new system called Proposal Bildr. It’s basically a custom web-based proposal management system that allows our clients to send and create and build custom web proposals. Your website and your proposal should be relatively similar in terms of the quality and the features. And one of the things that’s really important in both your website and your proposal is your value proposition.
Your proposal should definitely have the deliverables. It should have the timelines. It should have the specifics about the services and/or products that you offer but your value proposition is very important as well. Basically, that’s who you are, what services or products do you offer, how do you differentiate yourself from your competition or how do you separate yourself from your competition and what’s the next step in the process. And that value proposition should not only be expressed with verbiage of words but it could also be expressed with images, interactive components like video, audio and other interactive elements that can be both built into your website and your proposal.
So your proposal and your website should really emphasize the reasons that someone should go with you and it should really be expressed through the value proposition.
