Then the messaging is designed to create a sense of imprinting, or a sense of purpose of the website. What are you doing? Why are you doing it? Why is going to benefit the person on the website? Its really important that the messaging is really clear, really to the point, and really succinct because people don’t like to read very much anymore. The third component is the user interface. Its very important that when the user is moving through the website that it is a very simple easy flow and navigation process. If they have to think or it forces them to do something that they are not comfortable with, that will easily cause someone to leave the website. The last component is the relevancy. It is really important that your website is designed for the context of the users. So knowing the types of demographics of users that are going to land on your website is really important. With most businesses you are appealing to a variety of demographics so it makes it a little bit more involved to appeal to a variety of demographics so its very important that your web strategist is doing their research about the user: knowing their needs, knowing what’s important to them, knowing what they are going to be attracted to and drawn to, and making sure that the design, functionality, and messaging, everything appeals to the relevancy or the context of the user.
