Hello my name is Nathalie and I’m here at TinyFrog Technologies, I wanted to talk to you a little bit about sticky navigations today. So you kind of hear the word go flying around – what does sticky navigation mean? So basically sticky navigation is a fixed element or fixed navigation on your website that can be seen no matter where you are on the screen.
I’ve got one example of the client we’re working on right now. Basically this is their navigation bar up at the top right hand corner. It sticks to the top right-hand corner no matter where they are on the site and when the user clicks on the little green bar up at the top it expands out. You have your full navigation, you’ve got the phone number on there, but it doesn’t clutter up the page. So next time you’re trying to figure out, hey, you know, how can I keep a clutter-free page and still have that call to action no matter where I am on the website? Think – sticky navigation.
