Hello, everyone, my name is Nathalie and today I’ll be talking a little bit about how to use color for web designs and how color can convey different messages.
Colors are extremely important on a day to day basis. They can have an effect on our mood. They can have an effect on our emotions. One question that you might have is, why is blue so widely used in branding or in websites? So I thought I’d talk a little bit about what the meaning behind the color blue is. For example, the color blue is the color of the sea and the sky. So it’s associated with depth and stability. It symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith, and truth. Now, keep in mind there are lots of different shades of blue. So when you’re searching for images for your website and picking out that right or perfect shade of blue, think about, you know, what is the meaning of light blue? Light blue is associated with health, healing, tranquility, understanding, and softness. Where a dark blue represents knowledge, power, integrity, and seriousness.
