Grab Your User’s Attention

|

Here are a few suggestions for focusing your visitor’s attention on the most important areas of your website. Images are a lot more eye catching than text would be. Bolded text is much more eye catching than plain text. Keep in mind that web users can instantly recognize patterns, edges and motion. You can use all of these things to your advantage when designing your website. Ask yourself; what areas of this web page do I want visitors to focus on.

One example would be a contact form. Say you want people to contact you right away. Simple strategies would include making the contact form stand out in size or in color. Or you can place it above the fold so as soon as a visitor enters the site, it’s the first thing they see. You might also want to emphasize certain words like, “Free” as in “Contact Us for a Free Consultation”, if that’s what the user will receive if they fill out the form. All of these things are key to keeping the focus on the areas you want users to see. If you have any questions, please contact us at Tiny Frog Technologies.
