How to Use a Hero Image to Captivate Users
Hello, my name is Nathalie Walpole with TinyFrog Technologies. Today I want to talk about a hero image. It is basically the first thing that a user sees when they come to a website. Hero images have really become a big design trend. I have a quick example here. As soon as I visit our client’s website, Lantzman Lending, I see this large beautiful image and it really captivates the user to want to click and learn more. That’s one trend where websites are going.
Another trend is video; nothing that’s too overwhelming. As soon as you enter the page, you may have a large video taking up the whole width of the site with minimum movement. That tends to captivate the user. Another movement is the split screen. For example let’s say you have 2 different products that you’d like the user to see right away. You’d have one side of the screen featuring one product, the other side of the screen featuring the second product. That’s another great direction to go these days with your website design.
