Information We Collect and How We Use It

We collect information to provide better services to our users, from understanding basic usage patterns to enabling personalized experiences. We may collect the following types of information:

Information You Provide

When you interact with our services, such as requesting a quote, submitting a form via Gravity Forms, signing up for our hosting services, or contacting us, we may ask for personal information including your name, email address, phone number, and other details necessary to fulfill your request. Users may request access to their WP Engine hosting admin dashboard. As an agency partner of WP Engine, websites maintained by us are hosted on WP Engine or other third-party services, such as Linode (now part of Akamai), each of which maintains its own privacy policies that govern data processed on their platforms.

We collect information from you when you fill out a form, submit a ticket via our chat, or enter information on our site.

Embedded Content from Other Websites

Pages on this site may include embedded content (e.g. YouTube videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small text files that a site or its service provider store on your computer through your web browser, if you allow. Like the vast majority of websites, we use ‘cookies’ in order to provide you with the best possible experience on our website. Cookies can have many purposes and, among other things, may be used to save your preferences or to collect visitor statistics – e.g. finding out how many users viewed the site and the pages they accessed.

We use cookies to compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interactions in order to offer better site experiences and tools in the future. We may also use trusted third-party services that track this information on our behalf.

We use a cookie consent plugin (Cookie Law Info) to manage user preferences for cookie usage.

Cookie List

  • Internal Cookies: We use PHP session cookies (e.g., PHPSESSID for maintaining user sessions and anti-spam purposes, such as verifying form submissions). These help prevent automated abuse without storing personal data beyond what’s needed for session management. Additionally, login cookies are set on our admin pages to authenticate authorized users and maintain secure access. We also employ obfuscated form fields (honeypots) as a non-cookie-based method to detect and prevent spam submissions. For spam protection in forms, we use Google reCAPTCHA, which may set cookies like _GRECAPTCHA (used to distinguish humans from bots).

Third-party vendors, including Google, Facebook, SharpSpring, and LiveChat, may use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to our site. We use remarketing with Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Facebook Pixel to advertise online.

Log Information

When you access our services, our servers automatically record information such as your web request, IP address, browser type, referring/exit pages, date and time of your request, and cookies that identify your browser or account.

User Communications

When you email or communicate with us (e.g., via live chat or Gravity Forms submissions), we may retain those communications to process inquiries, respond to requests, and improve services.

We may use the information we collect from you when you request a consultation, request support, make a purchase, sign up for our newsletter, respond to a survey or marketing communication, or use certain other site features in the following ways: To send periodic emails regarding your order or other products and services.

We process personal information only for purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including:

  • Providing and improving our services, such as displaying customized content.
  • Auditing, research, and analysis to maintain and enhance our offerings.
  • Measuring ad effectiveness and conversions.
  • Ensuring technical functionality and security.
  • Developing new features.

We process personal information on servers in the United States and may use third-party processors as described below.

Choices for Personal Information

Most browsers allow you to control cookies, including refusing them or deleting them. However, disabling cookies may limit functionality, such as chat features or personalized experiences. You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser settings. Since each browser is a little different, look at your browser’s Help Menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies.

You may opt out of Google’s use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings. Alternatively, opt out of third-party vendors’ use of cookies via the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page. For LiveChat, you can manage preferences through their chat widget or browser settings. For Facebook Pixel, you can manage ad preferences in your Facebook account settings. For SharpSpring, cookie preferences can be managed via browser settings or our cookie consent tool.

If we intend to use personal information for purposes beyond those described here, we will seek your consent. You can decline to provide personal information, though this may prevent us from offering certain services.

If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, you can email us at info@tinyfrog.com and we will promptly remove you from ALL correspondence.

We do not currently respond to “do not track” signals as we do not sell personal information, but we may track or use cookies even when a Do Not Track (DNT) browser mechanism is in place. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals for opt-out requests where applicable under California law.

We allow third party behavioral tracking.
