& WordPress Development
UC San Diego Extension
UC San Diego extension provides continuing education, certificate and degree-related programs and community initiatives.
The UCSD master’s degree program in Clinical Research helps students meet the demand for clinical researchers in academia and industry.

- UX Web Strategy
- Custom Web Design

Project Goals
The website for the Clinical Research graduate program plays a critical role in attracting and securing prospective students.
The existing site did not meet the current branding standards for UCSD and was overly busy. The goal of the
redesign project was to create a clean, modern website that would appeal to young, tech-savvy students.
UX Web Strategy
Through in-depth research & interviews with the UC San Diego team, our UX web strategist helped identified the primary visitor types & their needs on the site.
We then created a home page wireframe and intuitive site structure that would engage & convert web visitors.
Visitor Classes:
- Inspirational Site Research
- Home page wireframe
- Internal page wireframe
- Messaging & content for home page
- Information Architecture
Custom Web Design
Through an iterative design process, our web designer created several custom page designs and integrated the UCSD branding style guidelines & marketing collateral.
Custom Page Designs:
- Custom home page design
- Custom Prospective Students page design
- Custom About page design
- Universal page design template
- Web style guide
WordPress Development
We developed the new website on a mobile responsive WordPress framework. Content was stylized & organized with the use of accordions, hover overs & custom post types.
Highlights:
- Interactive hover overs, FAQ accordions & custom post type setup
- Custom scroll animation on home page & key internal pages
- Newsletter sign up form & integration with custom animation
THE RESULTS
"The team at Tiny Frog Technologies was prompt in their responses, making it easy to stay on track.
I was impressed with their clean and simple process. The strategy and design lead asked us a lot of questions to figure out what we wanted and what we had done in the past. Their team distilled that into a design."
