What is a Custom Page Design?
Most website agencies will create a custom home page and then a generic page layout for all the internal pages.
We like to take things a step further and identify your most important web pages.
For each of these pages, in addition to the home page, we'll design a unique mockup.
Why Should You Invest in Custom Web Pages?
Custom web pages not only elevate the quality of your site
but they also allow you to tell an engaging story to web visitors.
Tell a Captivating Story
With a custom page design,
you can tell a visually engaging
story on the web page
High-Quality User Experience
Key internal web pages can make
or break the user experience
of a website
Convert More Web Visitors
Custom web pages convert better
because the design and content
are more compelling
Which Web Pages Should Be Custom Layouts?
It's unnecessary to create a wireframe and unique design mockup for every page of the site.
In addition, it would be extremely expensive to do so and take a very long time to complete.
Custom page designs should be reserved for the most important internal pages.
Examples of Custom Page Designs:
- About/Team page
- Services page
- Portfolio
- Product Category & Detail
- Case Studies
Which Pages Don't Need to be
a Custom Page Design?
The rest of the pages on your site can use what we refer to as "Universal Website Components"
This page has a more open layout and it is still custom designed by our designer. It is a collection of all the different page elements/panels created on the custom pages (I.e. text sections, call-to-action sections, team sections, iconography, etc.) and any additional that can be called out during the Strategy phase.
We apply industry standard techniques to style the content on the universal pages, matching the font, style and sizing to the overall design.
Can You Repurpose a Custom Page Design?
In some cases, custom page designs can be repurposed or reused for more than 1 web page.
Our team will discuss the plan for each custom page design with you and whether it can be reused, given the layout & functionality.
If a custom page design is re-used on other pages, any additional custom graphics and icons for those pages may be an additional charge.
Examples of Common Custom Web Pages
About/Team Page
The About or Team page is typically the 2nd most visited page on a site
after the home page. It's the best place to share who you are, establish
credibility, and showcase the personality of your brand & team.

Services Page
Your Services page is where you describe what you do and it is a very important
page for conversions. If the Service page can't answer the visitor's question of
"Can this business help me?" then they'll leave the site.
